The State of Being Lost

by

Martin Bufkin

The State of being Lost is a series of digital images and site-specific installations that re-present to the viewer significant locations that exist as part of my personal experience as young child. These specific locations all played a role in my path to finding myself as an individual. While some may have shared similar experiences in these specific locations, others may have a completely different understanding or perception of these locations. This body of work aims to shed light on the universal human experience of facing our truths, and then using them as tools to become better individuals and to motivate and touch the lives of others who have similar experiences.
